I am just a regular guy with an addiction for Steyr Puch vehicles! I work in the IT field and have to deal with computers all day long so I like my vehicles and their mechanicals simple.
In Germany I fell in love with the Unimog and thus my affinity for vehicles with portal axles began.
I owned a 404.1 Doka and am a co-moderator over at BenzWorld for the Unimog forum. Then I stumbled on the Haflinger and the rest is history.
The Haflinger in the photos on this page is mine that I imported from California. I drove it for a year and then due to a broken clutch cable decided to do some cleaning. Cleaning turned into parts coming off and that turned into a nut and bolt full restoration. It is slow going but it is a hobby and I enjoy the process.
